Water glider...

This requires a lot of skill... opps... not talking about the photographer, but about the bird :-)

See see... i can do the one leg...

I spotted this one legged bird at the post of Swan River jetty, CBD side.

As free as the wind blows...

The glider...

Wing span...

Born free...

Spreading wings...

Free as a bird, as they say.

Echelon...

I also learnt that the V-formation is called Echelon.

Birds flying in V-Formation...

I learnt from Wikipedia that flying in a V-formation aids the birds in covering long distances efficiently. This has something to do with aerodynamics.

Birds waiting for the ferry...

I took this shot from afar, from the platform of the jetty of Mandurah cruise.
The Mandja.

Today is bird day...

I like to shoot moving objects. It is more challenging for the photographer and the camera. Today, I will be posting photographs that I have shot on a small but fast moving creature. BIRDS!
